How innovated bath tubs refresh the mind and the body

Ask anyone how they would like to spend little short escapes and soaking in a tub would always be a popular answer. Bathtubs have always been associated with indulgence, and it's not difficult to see why: reclining in copious amounts of water; cocooned against smooth, and sometimes exquisite materials; taking your leisurely time to relish and enjoy the sensual effects of bathing.

Just like showers have been revolutionized by technological advances, bathtubs have enjoyed the same reinvention. No longer are tubs simply just for soaking and bobbing. Nowadays, more than asking what you can do in a tub, the better question should be, what the tub can do for you.

All bathtubs employ some principle of hydrotherapy in its overall experience. Once a body becomes buoyant in a tub, the subject is already experiencing the restorative properties of water. This is as basic as bathtub experiences go. No matter what the size, shape, or material of the tub, bodies will be buoyant when completely submerged in water. The sensation of floating immediately allows a sense of abandon, a relaxed relinquishing of control while in the safety of your own personal and intimate space.
